Katie Liskey
I met Katie in my junior year of high school. Ever since I locked eyes with her at show choir rehearsal, I knew she was the one. It may sound dramatic, but I knew. My brain’s inner monologue confidently repeated, “Yep, she’s the one. This is the girl”. That short glance we shared is what the people in the biz like to call, “love at first sight”.
Little did I know, that for the next several months I would be eagerly waiting for the perfect time to confess my love for her. And for the next several years after that first confession, I would be expressing to her how much I love her every day.
Katie, if you’re reading this, HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! I’m so sorry that I’m not able to be with you in person, but hey, I’ll see you in a week. We can celebrate with Joe’s Crab Shack, a movie, and just havin’ a jolly good time. Much love and appreciation, Katie.
